Privacy notice

Land Clearing Raleigh is a referral service run by Local Network Services. This notice applies to landclearingraleigh.com and describes what we learn about you, what we do with it, who receives it and what you can request.

What we receive

Your request. The estimate form collects your name, phone, email, town or ZIP, the type of clearing, approximate acreage, what's growing on the land, your timeframe and any details you type in.

Technical data. Like most websites, ours is delivered by hosting and security services that log basics such as IP address, browser and device, pages loaded and referring site.

Usage measurement. Google Analytics may be used, with cookies, to tell us which pages are viewed and whether requests are submitted. We don't pass your name, number or form contents to it. Google processes that data under its own terms; you can block cookies or use Google's opt-out extension.

Why we use it

• To forward your request to independent clearing companies that might price it
• To check in with you about your request
• To operate and secure the site and filter spam
• To meet legal obligations

Who receives it

Companies, at your direction. Submitting a request instructs us to share it, including your contact information, with a limited number of independent companies serving your area. They may phone, text or email you about it and may pay us a referral fee. After that, the company's own practices govern your information, and we can't control them.

Our providers. Businesses that host the site, deliver forms and run phone and email services handle data for us as needed to do that.

Legal and transfers. We may share information where the law requires or to protect rights and safety, and it may pass to a buyer or successor of this business.

We don't sell personal information to data brokers or enroll you in marketing unrelated to your request.

Calls and text messages

When your request includes a phone number, you consent to calls and texts about that request from us and the companies we share it with. Your carrier may charge for messages and data. Calls to our numbers may be recorded for quality and to verify referrals; you'll hear an announcement first. Call information may go to an independent company. Ask any company to stop contacting you, or text STOP where offered.

Retention

We keep request records for as long as it takes to handle and follow up on them and to maintain business records, usually three years at most unless the law says otherwise.

Privacy choices

Your information goes to companies only when you submit a request for that purpose. To opt out of any other sharing, email contact@landclearingraleigh.com with "Do not sell or share" as the subject. Browsers that send Global Privacy Control signals won't load Google Analytics on this site.

Email contact@landclearingraleigh.com to see, correct or remove information we have, or to keep future requests from being shared. Information a company already received is controlled by that company, so contact it about that copy.

California residents can request to know what we collect and share and can request deletion under California law, by emailing contact@landclearingraleigh.com. Exercising these rights won't affect how we treat you. We don't change behavior based on "Do Not Track" signals.

Protecting information

We take reasonable precautions, but no method of storage or transmission is risk-free.

Children's privacy

The site isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13.

Revisions

We'll update the date above whenever this notice is revised.
