Welcome to landclearingraleigh.com (the "Site"). Local Network Services runs the Site under the name Land Clearing Raleigh ("we", "us"). Using the Site or submitting a request means you accept these terms.

1. The service

Land Clearing Raleigh is a no-cost referral service. We collect requests for land clearing, forestry mulching, lot clearing, underbrush and invasive plant removal, acreage and trail work, grading, storm cleanup and related jobs, and forward them to independent third-party businesses ("Contractors"). We don't clear land ourselves and we are not a tree, grading or excavation contractor. We don't perform, inspect, manage or guarantee any work.

"Land Clearing Raleigh" names our referral service and is not the name of a contractor. Contractors aren't our agents, staff or representatives and may pay us for referrals.

2. Contractors act independently

Estimates, agreements, warranties and invoices come straight from the Contractor, and the price, timing, payment and work are matters between you and that Contractor only. Each Contractor alone answers for its equipment, personnel, licenses, permits, methods, insurance, warranties and workmanship.

We don't screen, verify, inspect, review or endorse Contractors, and nothing we relay amounts to a statement about a Contractor's qualifications, licensing, insurance or work. We don't promise that a Contractor will respond, give an estimate, be available or fit your needs. It's on you to vet any Contractor before hiring, including licensing where applicable, insurance, references and pricing.

3. Requests you submit

Submit accurate information. A request authorizes us to share it with Contractors, who may contact you by phone, text or email about it as the Privacy notice describes. Don't submit requests about another person's property or for someone else without their consent.

4. Site information

Everything on the Site, including explanations of clearing methods, seasonal timing and cost factors, is general information and may differ from any Contractor's pricing, equipment or methods. It isn't legal, engineering, environmental, arboricultural, safety or other professional advice, and we make no claims about what any town, county, state agency, utility, insurer, HOA or law requires or permits for your property. Get a qualified professional to evaluate your land, and check with your town, county or provider about requirements. Images are drawings, not photographs of real properties or projects.

5. No warranties

WE PROVIDE THE SITE AND THE REFERRAL SERVICE "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT ANY WARRANTY, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE MAKE NO WARRANTY REGARDING ANY CONTRACTOR OR ANY WORK, PRODUCT OR SERVICE A CONTRACTOR SUPPLIES.

6. Liability cap

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT ALLOWED BY LAW, WE AND OUR OWNERS, OFFICERS AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, NOR FOR PROPERTY DAMAGE, BODILY INJURY, DELAYS, LOST PROFITS OR OTHER LOSSES RELATING TO ANY CONTRACTOR, PRODUCT, WORK PERFORMED OR NOT PERFORMED, OR USE OF THE SITE. OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SITE OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100). Where local law doesn't allow certain limitations, those limitations may not apply to you.

7. Your indemnity

You will indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, resulting from your use of the Site, your interactions with a Contractor or your violation of these terms.

8. Rules of use

Please don't submit false, fraudulent or spam requests, disrupt the Site, or access it with automated tools except as permitted by our robots.txt file.

9. Updates

We may modify or discontinue the Site or these terms whenever we choose. Updates are effective when posted, and your continued use counts as acceptance.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by California law, without applying its conflict-of-law provisions. Should any provision be held unenforceable, the others remain in force.
